This was taken from my personal journal a week ago…

“ DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY WHAT YOU SEE RIGHT NOW.

Don’t you know? I know the end from the beginning.

I know what comes ahead of you and I see the change of seasons right around the corner that you can’t see.

Just trust me, my hand in yours.”

To be deceived: (of a thing) given a mistaken impression.

I received this reminder from the Lord a week ago and today it makes sense to me… I was deceived!  After months of support raising and still not having 100% of my support needed in order to move to Swaziland. I had given up on the idea of being able to go to Swaziland at all this year. I’ll admit it was difficult for me to accept. This year seemed to be flying by so quickly and every month I anticipated some type of miracle to happen. Instead month after month support raising was moving along… very slowly. So, you can see my impression was… no Swaziland for me this year.

Well, that’s not the case at all now… I just bought my ticket to Swaziland for September 5th! I was under a mistaken impression (DECEIVED) that just because I didn’t have what it takes to move to Swaziland for long term, that I wouldn’t be able to go to Swaziland at all. In one week my life went from “I would sure love to go to Swaziland in September” – “Could this work?”- “Are you serious?” – “I’m going to check on flights” – “I just bought my ticket!”  Although, I will not be moving to Swaziland in September, I will be going for three wonderful months!

I believe this was all in God’s plan in showing me to trust in Him more then the “impressions” of life. You can be just steps away from the very place He is trying to take you too or minutes away from the door He is opening for you.  That good news you have been waiting to hear could be just a phone call or email away. Regardless of how long it takes or how far you have gone in the journey, don’t be deceived by the impression of your circumstances by what it looks like right now. God is much bigger then that! When He wants it to happen… He will move mountains, close doors, open doors, or part an ocean to make it happen.  And just like that before you can even understand it all… His plan and purpose unfolds right before your eyes. Ultimately, He gets ALL the Glory! Which is perfectly fine with me.
